UX Goals Publishing task 2

From the start of the year to now and having a better understanding of UX and Content Management Systems(CMS) my intent is to set off and create my own site using UX features within the site 

What We'll build?

For my final project, I will be building my own CMS site, which will be a review site for Cork City. It will consist of local activities, restaurants, bars, b&bs and hotels to visit.

the key principles of UX and building a site as shown on UX planet where I'll be trying to encorperate into my site are as follow: 

1. Visualised data, this is where a site will showcase information in an easy to read format keeping the reader engaged visually using graphics and images like snapchat memories or spotify wrapped 
2. Minimalism, Using a minimalist design is the new in for websites. UIsually large letterung in thick black font, and a white background.

Why build it? 

I want to build this site so locals and tourists can endulge on the local culture and see reviews on top spots to eat in the area and stay in local B&Bs, hotels and bars in Cork City. As a fan of the city and have known it locally for over 3years now, I feel the content is endless. For the site goers to navigate through the site it will need to be easy to navigate, with well informed places listed and reviews available for ratings and comments so others can get an insight.

How to build it?

Using MAMP and Wordpress to mainly start the site up and have multiple plug-ins. Some including;

Code-Snippets: Used to manage comments and reviews section on a site.

Spam Protection: Used to manage antispam messages or comments. 

Smash Balloon: Displays instagram feed on site. 

Interacting
