Favourite Game!

So to start todays blog post, I'll start off with one of my top favourite games to play, Resident Evil Village (8). 

But Why?

From not being a fan of horror games like; "Dead Space" series, "Outlast" and the "resident Evil" series. I decided to face the fear and play on! from dead space to The Last of Us and to playing Village I very much enjoyed the thrill. I've never played the other seven games apart from seeing gameplay of Resident Evil Biohazzard (7), but thought this adventure looked a bit more entising. from the wider play area, open spaced map and the multiple boss fights, unlike tight corridoors running around a house like in Biohazzard, I loved it. 

Set in Romania, given the hint that the currency is in Lei and the hint of warewolves in the gameplay, Ethan and Mia relocated continuing from an "apparent" escape from the house in Res Evil 7. (tried not to spoil).

The game has a slow but good pace build up of creepy, eery gameplay from the get go. Keeps you on the edge of suspense for when something pops up or down from anywhere. Had been multiple times where I've had to pause the game to take a breather especially when you reach the Doll House, it is traumatic!

What I love the most from playing on both the latest PS5 and Xbox Series X is the quality, from graphics to smooth frame rate. The colours and details really make the game which all help complete the storyline. As I like games with a good storyline and direction, this is fanfastic to play and is up there with "The Last of Us" P1+2 as top games to play, if you like a bit of suspense to your day.
